OWC releases a new SSD

I'm going to move my OWC Extreme 3G to my wife's laptop. Now I'm even more confused. I see the section about incompressible data with the 6G SSD versions but none for the 3G SSD version. I have a 2010 i5 2.4 MBP 15 inch. I use it mostly for Lightroom and iMovie 11. Which SSD should I buy? Looking to get the 240GB SSD.

If you aren't doing any heavy video editing or anything like that. You should be fine with any of those SSDs. I have my eye on the electra.

The 5 year warranty on the higher end model is what would make me go for that one. I doubt you'd notice any speed difference. So the warranty, and the ability to do a RAID 0 set (if you are so inclined) are the selling points of the high priced model, IMO. If neither of those two features blow your hair back, go for the cheaper one.

I'm deciding between the two drives as well and I think the five year warranty does warrant the extra cost.
