Still haven't bought your MacBook? I can assure you that it has plenty power to do what you're going to use it for. The processor is far more powerful than most people think. The video processing is optimized so you'll hardly find any problems watching video or doing slight editing. There's people working with 4k material on a MacBook, it works, but slowly of course.
