iPhone Ownership transfer and jailbreak

I'm going to give my iphone 4 to my sister but I don't want to restore and jailbreak again. The phone is currently under 5.1.1.
Could she just connect the phone to her macbook and have it set as a new phone while keeping the jailbreak?

To really transfer it you are going to have to restore it. Just restore to 5.1.1 and rejailbreak.

I do not want to hijack the thread, buti have a simalar question. I have a 4th gen iPod touch, on 5.1.1 and JB. I want to restore to 5.1.1 and re jailbreak. We want to sell it and i think i can get a few $ more if it is JB.

What do i need to do, so i can make this happen. I was reading through a tutorial on iClarified.com about saving blobs.

I just sold a jailbroken Iphone 4. I just removed all my personal info and sold it that way. I got $195 for it.
