Hey... I'm attending a summer program at a college and am connected to their wireless network. I can get on the internet just fine by logging on using my college username and password, but neither acquisition or lime-wire will connect to the network. I'm not sure what to do about this since I have no access to configure the router. I don't work a whole lot with network configuration etc. but I would think there'd be a way to make one of my P2P programs work through a proxy or something.... anyone with any help would be appreciated

The college is blocking certain traffic, for a reason. I suggest you live with it.

Circumventing the college's policies invites being shut off entirely
