Hi Peeps

I have just reformatted my Powerbook G4, installed messenger, adium and aquisition and none of them load up when i click them.

The icon zooms, the dock stretches to fit the loading icon which begins to appear but then disappears, without the program loading.

Can anyone help me fix this? I have deleted all instances of the apps, rebooted, reinstalled multiple times but no joy. I even tried reformatting again but still no luck :(

Any help greatky appreciated

Thank you

Si

What version of OSX?
Are you properly installing them, by dragging the application to the Apps folder?
Sorry for the simple questions, just trying to get to the root of the problem.

LOL that's fine - so glad you're helping.

Yeah - coppying by dragging to apps folder

I was running OSX Tiger - from a friend, but my mac was so cluttered and i didn't have access to the discs anymore so I re-formetted with the OS that came with the computer - OSX Panther

Ok, try updating the computer to 10.3.9, or if that has already been done, I'm not sure what the problem may be..

Solved, I hadn't updated OSX - sorry - so stupid!

Thanks alot for helping :)
