I feel the opposite. The graphite goes best with all the skins.
Don't get me wrong, the graphite is beautiful and looks great with all the skins. I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as I enjoy the PB.

I got the blue because my last phone was black. I honestly didn't put much thought into it as I'd have picked any color based on availability. I put it in a leather case anyway, so the color really doesn't matter.

I normally go with the silver phones, but this time I got the graphite, and I really like it. I think it looks really classy, and as has been pointed out, it goes well with most color cases.

I actually will be very disappointed if they don’t keep the Pacific Blue around for future iPhones.
I'm actually disappointed they didn't keep the Midnight Green color around for this generation. IMHO, that was the most gorgeous color they've ever produced for an iPhone.

PB is a work of art! It encompasses so many shades depending on the lighting—no idea how they pulled that off. Anyway, it can actually look like a blue slate colour in certain light—whereas the graphite is more of a green slate. They’re not so different at times.

Bummed that I have to cover it up with a leather case though. (I would have considered going caseless this time around but I don’t find this phone terribly comfortable to hold without a bit of cushioning.)

I think what locked in PB for me was watching this video review. I couldn't believe how beautiful it looked, especially when the speaker kept saying how beautiful it looked.

Wow. The way he described the phone and color was amazing. I’m loving the pacific blue color more and more.
