Hello... :D Can I delete my package receipt files? They take up half a gig almost, and I would like a little more space.

I'd recommend against it. They're used for a variety of tasks, including repairing permissions. I can't imagine that the couple hundred megabytes they take up could be the most significant thing you could delete to free up space.

I wouldn't advise it. You'll need those if you ever need to uninstall an app. If you want to free up space, move user files to an external drive. It's not a good idea to mess around with system or app files/folders, unless you know what you're doing.

Alright... cool. I found an article online that said the if you delete the printer drivers that you don't need, you can save almost 3 GB of space. Since I have a laptop, and won't be using a printer with it, I did that. Saved me almost 3 GB! Check this out...
