The $49 pricing on the band that solved the problem of bands having a little flap sticking out is egregious?

I'm so glad I'm not you.

Have you ever tried any third-party sport bands? I have, and they are not _nearly_ the quality Apples flueroastamer bands are. I Will gladly pay the $50 for the quality, durability and overall construction of the sport band.

LOLWUT?

I have about twenty third party bands - sport, leather, metals of various kinds. I also have several Apple sport bands, leather loops, and also two hermes bands.

Fairly certain that I’m both able to discern quality and pay for it, even happily.

But you’re deluding yourself if you believe Apple’s sport bands are dramatically better than third party bands. Of the dozen+ I have, one - and only one - became sort of sticky and gross after prolonged use. I didn’t buy again from that seller. The rest, from a variety of sellers, show no more signs of wear and tear, discoloration, or any other issue than do Apple’s. Any difference is only appreciated upon very close inspection.

Maybe you should improve your sourcing.

Indeed Apples OEM bands are superior over third party Sport bands. Its no contest, nor debatable. In terms of thickness, pliability, texture, ect, Apples flueorastamer bands trump any third party Sport bands I have ever used, which I have more than extensive experience with. Fact.

Thank you for representing your opinions as fact.

Note I never said that Apple’s sport bands were not superior. What I said was that the difference was not nearly as large as you’re making it out to be, and certainly no where near the 500-600% difference in price would indicate.

Perhaps you should work on your reading comprehension.

Snipped...

Point is, it’s not an opinion, you can’t touch Apples OEM quality with the sport bands compared to third-party. It’s not even a contest and is a lop-sided comparison. Its a Fact, Which I stand by.

What does this have to do with Apples quality? Did I just not provide you examples that the thickness, texture of third party are completely different than Apples, it’s not even the same material as Apples Sport bands. Out of curiosity, do you know the difference between rubber and flueroastamer is ? (<— I ask, because there is a clear distinction between third-party and OEM with Apple sport bands, Which you seemingly are conflating to be of the same quality).

So many LULZ. Can’t/won’t bother except to say this: if it helps you sleep at night to delude yourself that Apple’s sports band are worth 5-6X the price of third party bands, great.

I will happily cede the final word to you as an insistence upon it is a sure sign of a feeble mind and an even weaker argument.

There’s no self entitlement here, it’s about the fact that you pay for a higher-quality OEM Sport band over a third party sport band. And I understand that you ignored the question the difference between rubber and flueroastamer, being that it’s totally two different types of materials, which really do help make the difference in terms quality and build (Which I attempted to educate you on multiple times). Third party bands might resemble each other the same physically, but they are _not_ the same in terms of the quality materials used with Apple. That’s where I think your conflating and somewhat ignorant of in your replied arguments. I do appreciate the discussion.

My neighbor tried a few of the 3rd party bands from Amazon and they sucked. One even broke his arm out in a rash! I tried a few of the 3rd party Leather Loops and they showed wear in a few weeks. The magnet in the 3rd party loops were also anemic at best
