PacMan iPhone 4 Wallpaper Redone - High Res

I'm sure everyone has seen the PacMan wallpaper for the iPhone by now. I used it on my iPhone 4 and loved it but was disappointed that it was made in the older iPhone resolution, so it looked stretched out on the iPhone 4.

Well, I decided to redo the entire wallpaper by hand, and here are the results, feel free to use it. I am not the original creator of this wallpaper, so credit for the idea goes to whoever created the first version. Enjoy. :)

EDIT: I've also included a redo of the old school pixellated version as requested by Project-79

I was just messing with you about that. This is going into my wallpaper folder for when my iPhone 4 arrives along with many others from the wallpaper thread. I wonder when we'll get the ability to automatically change the wallpaper periodically like you can on the Mac. I have quite a bit of wallpapers but I'm not sure which one I want.

I actually prefer the black pixelated version, but the lines didn't match up, so I've been using this wallpaper (SD version) for a month-ish now. It's too bad nobody has gone back and redone the black one... it looked identical to the original Pac-man.

I've never seen the black pixelated one. Post it and I'll see what I can do. :)

That one doesn't look pixelated at all to me, any more than the original game. And it's definitely iPhone 4 size. Sorry OP, this is the correct color scheme of the original pacman. And yours is nicely made, but it's too smooth.

Really?! That'd be great!! This is the HD version:

My problems with it are: 1. Dots are sometimes under app names, 2. All the apps seem to glow blue because the the squares don't line up, 3. The "extra lives" are too low.

Heh. If iPhone ever implements animated backgrounds then you can make it move... maybe pac man eating a power pellet?
 
The way Apple 'shades' the homescreen darker effects the extra lives/cherry. Not too noticeable, but it's there...

The bigger problem are the app/folder names going over the dots.

And as someone already stated the blue outlining of the apps is slightly off by a pixel or two and kinda distracting. :(

Well, in the original “purple” wallpaper, the squares fit snuggly under the apps. You can’t see them unless you’re scrolling between pages. While the black “pixelated” wallpaper seems to give the illusion that the apps are glowing blue. I’d prefer that the apps not be glowing. That’s what I meant to say.
