Just received the pad and quill travel stand / pouch combo and it's great. Going to be perfect for when I travel, which I do once a month. My sports band and leather loop also fit in the front pocket of the pouch.

Price was kind of steep, but a good price for good craftsmanship and the fact it was made here in Minneapolis, I'm ok with it.

Here is the link to their stands: http://www.padandquill.com/apple-watch-accessories.html

Here are pics of my SS space black with link bracelet and bands inside the pouch.

Thanks for sharing. I ordered it, but have been worried because on other treads it has gotten negative reviews. I will keep it on order. Whew.

No problem. The stand is light in weight and not as heavy as other stands out there which is probably the only "con" of it. I didnt see any other reviews on it. What are people saying about it?

They are on some of the stand threads. The bulk of the negative reviews say it is poorly made and rough around the edges. The craftsman ship is shoddy. That pretty much sums them all up in a nutshell.

They might have gotten early releases maybe? My stand is perfectly made.

Np. Exactly what I did. Can't believe I wasted a single penny on the nomad stand. That company is such a joke.

Just got the Pad & Quill stand last night. I am really happy with it. No issues with rough sides or anything like I have read on other threads. It looks nice and will be great for travel. If you are unsure, you should go ahead and order it.

I'm interested in this stand but have a question.....looking at the pictures it looks like the area right below the lower portion of the watch strap (top edge of the wood) looks a little "rough" and not sanded down and smooth. Is that case? Are all edges that the strap could be exposed to "smooth"?

Every edge is very smooth. It is a really nice product. I am on a business trip starting tonight and I took it with me, it is great, fits in the suitcase very easily and nice to have on my nightstand in the hotel room. I would say, if you can afford it, buy it. You won't be disappointed.

I got my husband the Timber Catchall for Father's Day. I got it in American Cherry wood. It was nicely finished and my husband loved it. He can rest his IPhone 6 plus and his watch together for charging.

I was alarmed because I had ordered it in the beginning of May, thinking there was plenty of lead time for the order given the projected shipping dates. But I kept getting notices of delays. So I finally wrote them expressing concern the item wouldn't get here in time to be a Father's Day gift. They sent it to me priority overnight and wrote a note making sure I got it.

I'm going to get the little travel stands for us, too, at some point.
