Hi all

So in Pages 08, I'm working on a 20+ page document, and the thumbnails along the left edge of the screen has grouped certain pages together so that when I select one, multiple above and below are also encircled in a yellow bar. The problem here is I can't re-order the pages without dragging 4 pages at once, and I can't drop a new page into the middle of a group.

How do I get rid of this grouping so each page is individual?

thanks!!

Add a section break at the end of each page.

For some reason that doesn't seem to be working. All my pages are layout pages, not text, and when I select a page (or any element within a page) and go to the insert menu, the "Section Break" option is grayed out.

What am I missing?

any more thoughts? Sorry to keep bumping this, but I have no idea what to do - they're all layout pages, but I can't reorder them because they're stuck in these 2-5 page sections.

in order to insert a section break, I think you'll have to have a cursor on the main page. If it is inside a text box or if you have an object selected it will gray out the option in the insert menu.

You may have to temporarily move some of your objects at the bottom of the page to be able to get a cursor.
