I've looked all over, and I can't find out how to use find and replace to change the font properties of certain words. Like say I wanted to change every instance of the word "dog" to a bigger font size. You can do this in MS Word, anyway you can do it in Pages?

Yes, but there are limitations.

First, set up a character style of the font, size, color, etc. Next, copy/paste or type the word/phrase you want to change into the Find/Replace box, click on the Advanced tab & choose your character style from the replace style drop-down menu &, finally, click Replace All.
