My girlfriend tried to drag a JPG into a Pages '13 document, and Pages crashed. After that, whenever she starts Pages, it shows a "Pages crashed, do you want to reopen the windows?" dialog, but no matter if she presses yes or no, Pages crashes a second later.

Interestingly, when she tried opening Pages '09 instead, she got the same dialog, but pressing No, made Pages '09 start up just fine.

The document she was working on was not saved, but was apparently autosaved in iCloud, because she can access it via iCloud.com.

I've tried removing all Pages preferences files from ~/Library/Preferences/, but that didn't help. Any suggestions as to what I can remove to get Pages to start up? I can't seem to find the saved crash state preferences for Pages anywhere, as there is nothing in ~/Library/Saved Application State/ either.

Stick with Pages 4 '09 for now. With luck when Apple releases Yosemite they will update iWorks apps such as Pages to put back features missing from the latest release and add a bunch of corrections.
