Pages - formatting help (dividing the page into four sections)

I've tried and tried but I'm now getting frustrated with what seemed at
first like an easy task.

I'm trying to create a flyer from an A4 page which should be split into
for equal sections (2up and 2down). I've managed to split the page into
two via inspecter>layout>column but can't for the life of me divide the
page further.

Any pointers?

I'm guessing you're using a Pages word processing document with the text in the main body layer.

Probably the best option is to use linked text boxes but you can also use layout breaks & column breaks. I think text boxes are easier as they can be moved around.
