Pages help: inserting pages without throwing off formatting

I'm new to Pages and want to insert two pages in the middle of a long document with many photos imbedded in text. Can I do this and retain current formatting of everything that follows new pages (rather than moving each photo two pages over).

I thought breaking the doc into sections would help--but, no.
