    Hi,

I just installed pages and I am trying to center the page in the middle of the screen so that the entire screen is occupied by pages (grey on either side of the page) However when I do this at 100% zoom, the entire worksheet is placed on the left hand side and the grey area is on the right. Is there a way I can move the entire "white" page on the actual center of the page (grey area on both sides). I was using office and this was not a problem there however have searched and cannot find an option to do this. I do not want to use the full screen option either because I want to see the task bar etc and grey is a better color to work with for me.

Only way I have found to make it work is to make zoom option fit width, however don't want a text size so big that I cannot see the entire page.

Driving me insane as this is a simple option that I am struggling to find a solution to. I cannot write pages that are not centered on the screen; force of habit.

So, recap... Looking for an option to have a 100% zoom option with the page centered in the middle of my screen with grey areas on both sides of the sheet. And no, it's difficult working with both sides having my colourful desktop on it.

    Thanks for anyone's help. :)

    Yes you can.

I think that the nearest you'll get to what you want is to click the view button and choose the show comments option. That'll give give you a grey border down the left.

Apart from that, you'll have to get used to it.
