Hello,

Right now I have a large pages document that is just text. I want to add graphs/figures in specific parts of the document. I would like the objects to be on a page of their own (not have text preceding it or after).

Is there a way to do this? Right now I am dragging them into the document and then using the return key to move the text down to the next page.

This is a problem for 2 reasons: first, pages thinks the text I moved is a new paragraph and changes the style, and second if I make any edits or changes to the text preceding the figures, they won't stay at the top of the page.

I thought of putting in section breaks before and after the page with the graph on it, but then the text before and after are not linked.

Is there a way to make sure the object always starts the beginning of a page? So no matter what I change/edit throughout the document the object will always begin on its own separate page.

I am using pages '09 version 4.1

Thank you.

I guess you are working on a "Word Processing" document. What you have described would be much easier to achieve if you have used "Page Layout" document.
