hey i was wondering if there is a way to have pages save all documents in .doc format. i know i have to export it, but is there anyway to get around that. also, if i am working on a document and its previously saved as .doc i need to re-export it after making changes and replace the document. can someone tell me if there is an easier way to do this, thanks!

Just save as .pages until the final version or until you need to send it to a Windows user, then export it until .doc. Pages documents tend to be about 1/2 the size of .doc files, so you'll be saving disk space, too, the longer you keep a document as .pages.
