'Pages' typing in green with vertical line growing with each line on left? how to get back to default?

Dear Mac geniuses, l spent too long trying to get it back to normal and googled, but cant find!
l know its easy if know, please tell me how. thanks

If you click on "Format" in the toolbar, you can choose different Paragraph Styles. Maybe look there.
