iPod touch Paid and nothing happened

I just downloaded the update and then bought the apps. Nothing happened and nothing has changed. Anybody else experiencing this?

Yes.

I paid too. I got to it installing, and then it failed:

'unknown error 0E8000001'

No way to re-download.

They better had fix this. Sharpish.

i heard on another forum that supposedly the 'iphone apps for ipod touch are down at the moment'

but i installed mine just fine, it literally takes 1-2 sec to install.
