Paid early updates

    Maybe next year when Apple releases iOS8, they could allow people who are willing to pay a fee to download iOS8 a week before everyone else. Then people who don't like waiting very long don't have to wait as long. And Apple could use some of that money to upgrade their server infrastructure so updates would be even faster for the early updaters.

    I mean technically speaking you can pay for a dev account or (not on this forum) get you're UDID registered)

    A fee... to download a system update a week early? They must have pockets burning with cash

    You do realize that Apple is releasing updates on a schedule for a reason? Just because the GM is released doesn't mean 3rd party apps are have updated (just see some current posts in this forum about broken apps).
