Anyone here purcahsed an Iphone 4, paid in full, ATT still push your contract date up to 2012? I thought if I purchase a new Iphone 4 paying full, the contract would remain as is. But when I checked earlier today, it jumped up to 6/23/2012. OMG 😱

It's an AT&T thing... they require a 2 year contract on the iPhone. Period.
I'm really surprised there hasn't been a class action on this before now. You shouldn't be forced into a 2 year agreement if you didn't get your phone subsidized.... gee, how much is the ETF for that contract? The one that you didn't save on the phone?
I know thats' what I thought. If forum poster here don't mind, can someone who purchased an iphone 4 in full price confirm their ATT account? Much appreciated.
Unless it has changed since i last considered an iPhone and read, it didn't matter when an iPhone was involved. The original iPhone users were locked into 2 year contracts too, with no subsidy.

Ok, I don't seem to understand. $199/$299 is the new new contract/line or upgrade price for the phone. $399(16GB)/$499(32GB) is the price if you purchase the phone before you are eligible for an upgrade (That's what listed I was charged last year). What is the $699/$799 for then?

399/499 is with an "Early Upgrade". 599/699 is the price for the phone outright with no contract, just buying the phone or if you are not eligible for early upgrade.
But it had been that in order to USE it you had to have the 2 year contract - you can't go month to month with it. So you are saying you can do that now?
That is good - and the OP needs to call and holler at someone! 😀
