my transfer rates on USB are really really slow.it's quite embarassing to witness. i think they are travelling at USB 1 speeds. is there anything i can do to see if i've got a problem? it takes like 5 minutes to put 20 tracks on my nano...that must be wrong, they're not massive tracks.

any help would be great

cheers 🙂

Is this on your PowerBook G4? Is it the same with all ports? Could you try the iPod on a different computer?

yeah it's on the PB G4. both ports. tried on a windoze PC and it's lightning fast.it's not just my nano. when i use my hard drive on USB it's slow, as is my flash memory
