Painless way to convert powerpoint to a web slide show?

Hi All

I was wondering if anyone had advice for me on how to convert a powerpoint presentation into a web based slide show? Especially one that will work well in Wordpress?

I know you can save a presentation as a web page, but the resulting files are difficult to integrate into my theme. Perhaps someone can recommend a plug-in or application that would allow the presentation to be inserted into a post? I need to do a few dozen so ease of use important to me.

maybe uploading to google drive and making it a public item to share? haven't tried it, just a suggestion.

Hmm, well in general you could save the PP as images and use any ol' gallery plugin that looks right to you. If it is a Wordpress site there are plenty of gallery and slideshow plug-ins for WordPress. If it is a HTML site and you are comfortable with Jquery, Unheap.com has a great selection of plug-ins.

Would converting your powerpoint presentation to a video file then embedding the video in your page be out of the question? I'm sure your options would open up substantially if this is an expectable method.

Not sure about your skill but you could write a script to convert ppt to this web presentation framework.

I started doing most of my presentation using that framework now. I am able to do live chart/slide with that.

I saw this a while back. This would be a killer solution. It looks fairly straight forward. Some PHP will be necessary for wordpress integration.

If you need it quick, save it as a MP4 convert that to MOV and have it open from the existing page.

I couldn't agree more. This is the most simple and straight forward solution.
