You should do whatever YOU want to do. Everyone here, clearly, has their own opinion on what looks good and what doesn't. You should just find something that looks good to you, or like the OP, something with some personal meaning, and go with it. As you can see by quite a few posts in this thread, if it is something that you like, then it has accomplished its task and will be appreciated. I'm sort of indifferent on the artwork on the OP's laptop, but I can GREATLY appreciate the emotional connection it adds.
The problem that comes up, as proven in this thread, is that some people can't seem to differentiate between constructive criticism and just plain rude disapproval. Instead of leaving decent feedback for the OP (who I'm not even sure really wanted it), some people in this thread went right for the jugular, and ripped it to shreds. No one is saying that people shouldn't be entitled to their own opinion, but there should at least be an expected level of decency and courtesy around here.
