Hello - I have an apple watch 7. My phone unfortunately got stolen (13 pro). I have a new device on me however and need to pair the watch to it. I got my data on my new phone, a 13 mini. I opted to do it with icloud. when it was in the process it asked if i wanted to pair the watch with the phone and i said yes. That pairing didn't work. I could just reset and pair but will lose some of my activity from yesterday (correct?). Anything i can do to save it? (I ran around so much dealing with the impact of losing a phone, like trying to (unsuccessfuly) get a new sim that it would be a shame to lose the many calories I burned!...I know it's not a real issue but would be nice to know if i can).

thanks

No, the Watch gets backed up to a paired iPhone so you'll lose that data when you reset the Watch.

Thanks for your responses. Just thought I'd update in case it's helpful for anyone in the future. My watch remained paired with my old phone (which was erased also) for about a day. A backup however took place last night at 1119pm. I was able to restore from that backup. The workout stuff didn't all come. Some did from the previous day and some didn't. Maybe from when the phone was stolen. But thankfully no more hassle about this!
