HomePod Paired HomePod Minis Locking Up Apple TV

Added a pair of HomePods to the living room and stereo paired them. When I have them selected for the audio output in Apple TV (4K) it causes the apps to freeze and lock up. It also causes the Apple TV to just restart. As soon as I take away HomePods as the audio output it works fine. Both the HomePod Minis and Apple TV 4K are running the latest OS (15.2) and I have very good wifi and internet. Any ideas or suggestions?

I wonder if it's related to the cable you're using to connect the ATV to the TV? Have you tried using a different cable just to rule that out? Also check and make sure you are plugging the ATV into the Arc/eArc port on the TV.
