Hi there

I got a quick question about bluetooth keyboard and magic mouse. For some reason I need to pair 2 of each to my iMac. I know I can not pair 2 IR remotes, I learned it the hard way now I have an extra remote laying around.

I guess the keyboard and mouse would work since they are bluetooth but if anyone did it before it would be great to know.

Thanks!

can't answer your keyboard/mice question, but on the remotes

you can use both remotes, just don't pair, or if you have paired, then unpair the the remote (under security->general on system prefrences)

how pairing works..
there are 256 different remote IDs.
if you have a remote with an id of 67, it will send "play-67."
All pairing does is tell the mac to only listen to 67.
if unpaired, it listens to all remotes.

-------
you can also use remote buddy with the remotes, it will let you use both remotes with different actions. so you could setup one remote to only work on itunes, and the other to only control quick time (not sure why you would do that, but you could)
