Pairing a bluetooth phone with a G4 ibook

I just bought a Motorola Razor, and i am trying to pair it with my G4 ibook, but for whatever reason i am either getting connection errors, or no device found... i have made sure that the phone is on discoverable mode, but it just won't work, anybody know how to get this working?
