Reaching out for help on a specific question. When you unpair a watch which has a cellular plan, AW3 offers the option of leaving the plan on the watch. If the plan is left intact, when this same watch is re-paired to another phone, will the watch still ring on the initial cellular plan/number provisioned by the carrier which is associated to the first phone? Of course, this presumes that the Watch is not provisioned with a new carrier plan associated with the second phone. Any ideas appreciated...

It might, I wonder if someone who has tried it will respond.

I suspect this option is to assist in resetting the Watch and re-pairing with your existing device. It wouldn’t be intended for moving the Watch to another line, because of the associated iPhone phone number (usually tied together by NumberSync, or whatever system your carrier uses.)

Although if you have multiple iPhones on a family plan, it might make it easier to move a watch between them, assuming you also performed the NumberSync changes after moving a watch.

No, the watch will not remain synced with the old iPhone aka sharing the original iPhone's phone number.

If you're syncing to another iPhone with a different mobile number, you'll see a message “Looks like this device is already synced. You can only sync a device with one phone at a time. Want to sync with another phone?" Select OK. (If you have upgraded to a new iPhone you will not see this message). Also, your watch must be provisioned with a new or existing Unlimited LTE Wearable plan on the same cellular carrier as the paired iPhone.

Note: Your LTE watch and paired iPhone must be on the same cellular carrier, the same billing account and the billing account must be a post-paid plan.
