I have just installed Ubuntu 14.04 in my Macbook Pro 9,2 and everthing works great apart from the trackpad. I can't rest my thumb on the bottom and this is really annoying. How do I sort this out?

Installing Ubuntu in Parallels would probably sort all hardware issues that Linux might have with macbook.
