Guys,

I just purchased a new Palm E2, was wondering if it is possible to use icalendar, apple contacts and sync with my palm without using palm software.

Please advise

You can sync the E2 using Palm Desktop, however you will forced to use the Palm calendar and address book. If you want the E2 to sync with iSync, iCal and the OS X address book you will need third party software. The program that I use is called MissingSync, http://www.missingsync.com. It adds a ton of useful functionality over the Palm Desktop program such as mouting of your SD card as a disk and syncing with iPhoto and iTunes. I highly recommend this software if you want to get the most our of the E2, however it is not free. Good luck. :)

MissingSync is awesome!

Just be sure that only Mark/Space conduits are enabled, none of the default Palm ones, or you will have conduit conflicts, and errors in syncing.
