Palm Pre "launch party" - noone seems over-excited. Oh dear.

Get your **** straight. You can do what you want, but I'm not gonna go out and buy a crap product because i don't want people to do their jobs. One product that doesn't sell well doesn't mean the whole ******* company is going down. If anything, it means they got some motivation to bring something GOOD to the table next time. Hell if they wanted their job so bad, they should have put some money into making something unique, and stop trying to copy and paste the stuff the iphone have and add lil improvements.

I don't want anyone losing their jobs, but Palm needs to do something, cuz obviously whatever they're doing now isn't working. I just hope they see how bad the Pre does so they pull a Final Fantasy*.

*First Final Fantasy was Square Enix's last attempt at a video game, and if it failed they would be out of business. The game sold like crack, and now Final Fantasy is the pinnacle of RPG's in the video gaming world.

That's the point. That's their strategy. Sprint has a bad name. Palm has always had a good name in the 'hearts' of many people for many years (I still have an old B&W Palm PDA sitting in my drawer at home), so Palm and Sprint can help each other out.

I don't want to see Palm exit the market.. Sprint; I couldn't care less. If Sprint leaves, the government will tighten its grip on the telephony companies, which makes me very sad..

i completely agree, its going to be interesting because when it comes to att then you'll be able to really do tests on which phone has better performance speeds.

I really hope the FCC starts cracking skulls idk about you...some of the things telecommincotions companys do is scandilous and pardon me but flat out contradicts what has been fair and the standard for every other industry...cellular carriers will at this rate forever be special if the FCC doesn't start kicking AT&T and verizons asses.
 
Made me laugh that the singer being interviewed slipped in that her new single was out and is available on (apple) itunes, at a palm launch
