Remember back in early 2006, Macbook Pro's were getting brown splotches on the palm wrest areas and Apple responded, finally, by replacing the top covers??
I purchased just AFTER that problem was diagnosed and fixed, and this revision was supposed to NOT exhibit that problem... But... Mine definitely has that problem.
The very day I received my MBP, I put a InvisibleShield Full Body Armor on it. I have not even used it without this protection in place. So... the problem somehow comes from under (inside) the MBP. I use an external keyboard and mouse, so I rarely even put my hands on the actual laptop.
I JUST had my battery replaced (today) in another Apple Care call. Think I should call them back on this issue too? I would like to.

Second problem, maybe:
My MBP seems to "rock" when on a flat surface. As you look at the screen, the front right portion of the bottom case does not touch the table and there is about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch "play" as I press the corner down, the back left corner rises... Is it possible it warps out in my Brenthaven bag?
Think Apple Care would cover this type of thing or did I somehow cause it to warp out? (Not sure how I could). It has been this way for a year or so, but I have not had the bug to call Apple Care until I had to with my battery & now I'd like to see the MBP but back to 100% health if possible. I really do treat it with kid gloves too.
Thanks!
