Hi All,

Hoping someone has already butted their head against this and can help me out. My girlfriend got a Panasonic Palmcorder SDR-H40 for Christmas and we used it on our recent vacation. When I connected it to my MBP an external drive mounted, from which I was readily able to extract all the stills she took with it. What I can't seem to do, however, is get access to the video on it. iMovie didn't seem to recognize there was a camera there, even when I poked and prodded. The camera has a USB output and an AV output (don't recognize the connector, but it doesn't look like Mini DV to me) and I'm not really sure where to go from there. No help from the Panasonic support site or teh google.

Thanks in advance for any pearls of wisdom.

Try deleting the stills using the camera's menu, having first imported them of course, then remount the camera and see if iMovie bites.
