I've no idea why it wouldn't? A 4k tv isn't limited to accepting only devices that output at 4k. It should be able to take in anything that connects via hdmi.

a TV display should not be a replacement for a computer lcd...

while Ultra HD would give u better resolution... that would be kinda 'filling the gap as u won't be able to see the pixels at close range.."

On a TV u will always be able to see pixels at close range.. and using 4K display would basically take the idea away that a laptop has a better resolution.

that's kind of taking a 'short cut' to me.. but i connect my Mac mni up to 1080p display only when i need to.. The rest is done remotely. and HDMI cable gets disconnected..

Even if i had a Ultra HD display instead, it would not change this.
