I bought a Windows laptop just for roms/coding for Android and jailbreak stuff for ios a little while back. ;-)

I disabled my passcode and icloud and it installed fine. Made sure to update everything after and reenabled icloud and passcode and everything is looking good so far 🙂 I was surprised to see that option to install cydia lol.

The "progress text" changes to the red color and it seems to be hanging. How long should it be on that screen for?

Jailbreak with 1.0.1 (1.1.0 tool not out yet), then update with the pangu app on the homescreen or through Cydia.

I had this. Got to disable "Encrypt Backup" in iTunes with your phone connected. Then run it again and it will be fine.

I also took the lazy way and installed Cydia via the Pangu app. Works fine. After doing this the Pangu 0.2 update also appeared for me in the Pangu app (perhaps the respring triggered it)..

The notes on my experiences of installing Cydia this way:

1) It did not show any packages via search initially.. i had to go into changes and hit refresh, then it worked.
2) Substrate isn't installed by default. Got to do that yourself after step 1.

I've jailbroken all my iPhone's. Should I be worried jail breaking from Pingu with apple pay and Touch ID? Or is it safe as before.
