General Pangu8 detected phone via WiFi?

just jailbroke my ipad air and disconnected it
my iphone 6 was right beside me not plugged in but pangu was able to detect it, I was wondering how this was possible?
It recognized my phone was on 8.1.1 and said "only avalible for ios 8.0 - 8.1!"

Do you have iTunes Wi-Fi sync turned on for your iPhone? Maybe Pangu picked up your iPhone because of that?

yeah I think it is wifi itunes sync, I noticed this too, Pangu detected my phone was connected but it was not plugged in

It will not work via wifi sync.
You will need to plug it in for the whole JB process to go through successfully.
