I don't think iPhone 4S users should upgrade just yet, unless you really want that big screen.

I don't plan on upgrading until they put in a 10MP camera and some other killer hardware/software feature that other phones simply can't do.

So, until that happens, it'll be quite a while before I upgrade.

The 4S is an outstanding phone IMO. The 5 just doesn't have enough features to make me interested.

And iOS6 gives me everything anyway.

Upgrading for Pano is silly.
Upgrade for LTE and A6...these alone justify the upgrade.

then sell your 4s on Ebay for more than the upgrade cost (assuming you are eligible for lowest price)

iphone 5 is the iphone 4s w/ a new design. At this point all they're doing is catching up to android/samsung. Sad really, they used to be the trend setters.

Exactly ! With iOS 6, my iPhone 4S is a 5 with a smaller screen

I originally thought that, but then I realised that the iPhone 4 'look' is still the best looking phone on the market. Changing something for the sake of it just isn't necessary. The same with iOS. It's a proven OS which people recognise. Why change it just for sake of it. The Samsung GSIII is an ugly design and it just shows what Samsung are capable of (or not) when they don't copy the iPhone design. Thats just my opinion.

I saw that just a moment ago, that is pretty cool. I agree though, upgrading just for pano is silly. Lots of great apps out there that can be bought anyway.

i think this time the change or transition from 4s to 5 doesnt feel to drastic anymore. hell even from the 4 to the 4s it felt like a huge change for me at least.

i liked the 5 but doesnt have that ''feel of wanting'' that i used to have with when they released the iphone 4. ill get it when i can in the near future :p

It'll be interesting to see how many people actually GET 4G speeds on it.

At least on my AT&T 4S, I'm getting better-than 3G speeds.

It's really more about software to me.

iOS6 looks sweet and it's going to be on all their more recent iProducts.

I do think it's silly to not-include Siri or Turn-by-Turn on some of the older stuff though, when it's proven they'll work perfectly fine on all of them (via Jailbreaks)

That right there is just pure bully-marketing.

But, as I said, we have the jailbreaking community to solve those issues.

;)

sans the A6 processor, and LTE....and the thinner design, lighter weight, brighter screen and hopefully improved antenna. Other than thats its almost the same as the 4S.
I have LTE on my ipad and the difference is significant. Its like being on wifi.
At least twice as fast as the fake 4G
