iOS 7 beta 5 has killed my wallpaper choice. In all the previous betas, the panorama would move using the iPhone's internal sensors- now it's just a fixed image. Was this intentional? I hope not...

Who knows..could be a bug, could be intentional.

I don't think it looked awful but we're getting close to release and it's probably not going to make the cut due to the battery implication. Apple's probably trying to avoid the deluge of Genius Bar appointments by users claiming the "battery won't hold a charge" and demanding a replacement phone.

I guess that the dynamic wallpapers are more battery efficient? Too bad they are ugly :(

Bring more dynamic wallpapers. Thats all I ask in the wallpaper section.

As for Panorama Wallpapers: I dont use it never did when I had iOS 7 but hopefully it will make it to a future iOS

Good question and I have no idea. But I can imagine that since panoramas are extremely high resolution and in turn file size, keeping that large of an image in RAM must negatively effect the battery. But that's just a theory I just pulled out. I have no basis but it would be interesting to investigate.

What are you guys talking about. My dynamic wallpapers work fine on 4s as do panoramas.

I thought it only ever worked on iPhone 5. So I really don't see how it's working on your 4S...

not sure what you guys are on about. panorama wallpapers. like what was shown in the apple presentation. like it shows on the apple website. you are able to move your phone and the background moves in 3d. paralax. it works on the 4s.

I'm on Beta 5 with a 4S and the panoramas do not pan across the photo anymore. It only tilts slightly like any other photo.

Panorama backgrounds are not the same as parallax effect on static backgrounds (which are both different than movement on dynamic backgrounds).

I never understood why people liked panorama backgrounds.

Why would you want your background to move when you physically move, but the phone and 'page' your on stays the same.

Makes me dizzy!

They still work on my 4S. Have you guys got Reduced Motion turned off?

I'll be crushed if they lose the scrolling panoramas...give the option to turn then off for the select few that are only allowed to charge their battery once a day...

For the same reason that some people like the blue color and others like the red color (and perhaps even hate the blue color)...like many many other things in life.

I never realized this feature until today via the internet, and went to try it on Beta 5 but it didn't work. Thought it was a bug on my phone, but apparently they intentionally turned it off ... hopefully they bring it back in some scale.
