My panoramic wallpaper is still working without any issues on my iPhone 5 running beta 5. I can rotate my phone and the panoramic photo pans. The photo was taken with the iPhone.

Not working on my 5 with beta 5.

Bring more dynamic wallpapers. Thats all I ask in the wallpaper section.

As for Panorama Wallpapers: I dont use it never did when I had iOS 7 but hopefully it will make it to a future iOS

Same here, never used panorama wallpaer. To be quite honest don't even see the point. And I think after the iOS 7 is released we will see dynamic wallpapers in the App store.

not sure what you guys are on about. panorama wallpapers. like what was shown in the apple presentation. like it shows on the apple website. you are able to move your phone and the background moves in 3d. paralax. it works on the 4s.

Yeah, you're talking about Parallax, not Panorama..

Are you stupid?

Panorama backgrounds are not the same as parallax effect on static backgrounds (which are both different than movement on dynamic backgrounds).

Man, I have a 4S and "scrolling" panoramas did work on lockscreen and homescreen. You know squat about specifications.

You are confusing with the regular iPhone 4. THAT ONE does not support neither airdrop, parallax, panorama pictures, panorama wallpapers, dynamic backgrounds nor Siri.

4S has the same functions as an iPhone 5 on iOS 7 except for airdrop...thats the only feature 4S does not support.

wait whats the difference?? i thoguht it was the same thing. setting a panorama as a background means it moves around as you move the phone/tilt it. and thats what paralax also does.

i tried looking cant find the difference anywhere. help me out maybe im not aware of what this feature is.

The static normal image wallpaper with paralax moves ever so slightly, with panoramic, it should move much more drastically.

Parallax is where you set a normal picture/wallpaper, and moving the phone creates a sense of depth, 3D movement where the icons seem to float above the wallpaper.

Panorama is where you set a panoramic photo (a 240-360 degree angle view) as the wallpaper. As you move the phone left and right, it pans through the panoramic photo.

thanks everybody for explaining so clearly. yep i agree thats a kickass feature. i actually tried this with beta 3 or 4 i think. never worked for me on 4s. and i just tried it again. still doesn't work.

so like somebody above said either its just a i5 feature. or its broken.

My panorama wallpapers worked under B5 as they had under B4 until I changed them. Once I changed them, I could never get the panorama back, just the parallax effect.

What are you talking about? When did I ever say anything about 4S or specifications or anything like that?

I never understood why people liked panorama backgrounds.

Why would you want your background to move when you physically move, but the phone and 'page' your on stays the same.

Agreed 100%. It makes no visual sense; I wouldn't mind it if the wallpaper panned as you swipe between pages. It could even pan slower(ly?) than the apps to extend the parallax. Oooooh.

Yeah...no...not the same thing.

I think features like this will return in the GM.. Things such as the pulsing lightning bolt, and spongy keys in calculator from beta 1 also will come back.

Just my two cents...looks like the explanation has been found but...

Panoramic wallpapers were working fine on my iPhone 5. I took my phone into the Genius Bar to get the screen replaced (by the way, they wouldn't work on my phone until I downgraded to iOS 6). It's funny cause the Genius Bar guy was saying that panoramic wallpapers didn't work on his phone and he was asking me what I did to turn it on (I didn't do anything!).

After I downgraded iOS and got the screen replaced, I re-installed iOS 7 (latest build and restored my backup. Panoramic wallpapers stopped working. All my beta updates till then were OTA.

Just my experience with the whole thing. :D
