Panoramic picture issue

Can anyone advise please, when taking panoramic pictures on iPhone 5s I end up with waves in the picture. Why does this happen?

you have to hold it perfectly steady and follow the line. if not, you will get waves.

And if you do already follow the line and it's bent anyway, my guess word be that it's to do with the gyroscope being off by a few degrees on the 5s. There's an article on macrumors about it.

Seems impossible to be steady. Very jumpy.
