Panther to Tiger....

My brother who gave me my old G3 Pismo installed with Panther... Now says he going to send me a "copy" of the Tiger install disc...
What sort of technical problems could I run into if I try to install Tiger from a copy. As apart from the fact that there are very few new apps that still work with Panther.... the sysyem on the whole works pretty well...and I'd prefer a computer that works to a computer that is f**** d up. Just for the sake of a few apps.

First problem is that it's illegal.

Second you need at least 256MB RAM and 4GB free HDD space to install Tiger.

Does your Pismo have that? Officially Tiger is supported on a Pismo.
