Paper iPhone Models

Hey I've seen the Gizmodo and iPhone Countdown Paper 3D iPhone Models, my question is... is it illegal to use stock images of the iPhone to create these replicas?

I can't see how, or why it would be. There just picture really..that are 3D. Its not like they do anything.

Still not sure about selling them, Apple might get upset.

You're taking a copyrighted picture, printing it out, and selling it at a profit. Thats theft and illegal.
