Hi there,
I once installed Parallel Desktop 3 on my MBP. But I didn't use it that often, so I removed it. But, after removing it, my laptop became permanently slow (i mean I even formated it, and it was still slow).
Now, bare in mind that, I sent my laptop in for repairment, and there was a physical damage, and the hard drive was broken.
But still, I now want to install it again.
I just want to know, is it going to slow down my mac?

Thanks!

I had a similar issue, and I did some searching, and I had Parallel items in my Library Folder and the /Library folder. Once I deleted those and rebooted it fixed all my problems.

I think what was slowing down my machine was Parallel files in /Library/LaunchAgents and /Library/LaunchDaemons. BE WARNED! Do not mess with these files unless you know what you are doing, you can seriously do some damage if you don't know what you are doing.

I noticed them when I was doing some system clean up on my Mac the other day, I went through and delete alot of files off my Mac that I knew I didn't need anymore.
