I have installed parallels 5 desktop onto my macbook pro and am trying to set it up to run win XP. All goes well untill it gets to the part of the windows installation that highlights "installing windows" the everything just stops, and stays stuck on "setup will take approximately: 36minutes"
At the very bottom in the grey area it says: "Parallel tools are not installed, when I click to install these, nothing happens! Please help me, I am new to my macbook and am not loving it so far 🙁
Thanks

ok, no one knows 🙁 fist time tried to use a forum & first time macbook user. very disappointing 🙁 I won't be back.

Your expectations of a quick response are far too high. Regarding your issue... it's likely working fine. I installed a Parallels 5 with Windows XP in the last week and it seem to "hang" for a while during the install. I suspect the estimated time remaining is just a little off.
