Just some sort of ID proving you work for or attend the school you go to.

Oh okay, cheers! So you can defo buy the education copy in the actual store? I know only the Apple store and Parallels seem to sell it... oddly enough Apple sells it cheaper than Parallels do.

I'm so glad you said something about education discount! I went to the parallels site and went to "special editions" then clicked on the Parallels for Mac Student Edition. It sent me over to Microsoft Dreamspark (the MS education store portal) where it can be downloaded for $39.99. So there, you don't even have to go anywhere, just download it right there. If you aren't registered on Dreamspark, all you have to do is give them a .edu email address that they can verify.

Thanks! If I hadn't seen your post, I never would've known they had a student edition to begin with! :)
