I've tried searching for the solution to my problem, but there are so many parallels threads I haven't had any luck.

So I partitioned 32gb for windows and installed vista through bootcamp. Since then, I got a copy of Parallels (version whatever.5 or something, a current one) and tried to get into my install of Vista from OSX. I had no luck, so I continued to play with the setup and I somehow got to the option to install vista from parallels so I went ahead with that. It installed fine, but the problem is that the copy of vista i enter via parallels in OSX is different than the copy of Vista I enter via holding option at the boot process; or at least the icons and programs that show up are different.

How do I make sure I only have one copy of Vista installed? I only have the one partition.

Also, what am I doing wrong when trying to get Parallels to work with the initial copy of Vista I had installed?

I don't have much loaded on Vista yet, so if I have to do a clean install it wouldn't be tragic. I just want it to work.

Thanks in advance.
