Does anyone out there know if when running Parallels Desktop on a Mac if you can use a PC program that requires a dongle?

It seems as though the PC software is not reading the dongle...

Thanks!

Was wondering how the dongle is connected - is it usb or is it an old serial port dongle with some kind of usb converter?

can you see the dongle from OSx? that might tell you if the computer is at least recognizing the connection.

I use embroidery software that needs a dongle. I havnt tried it on a Mac running windows. It's this uncertainty that has stopped me buying a Mac for work. Seems a lot less hassle to give in and use a pc :(
