I own a MacBook Pro with the latest version installed in it available, and I'm considering in getting Parallels just for the purpose of buying games, sure not the high end games where you need a Alienware computer but some basic Windows game, so is it possible to run PC games on a Mac using Parallels without reinstalling the game every time I want to play them?

Depends on the game. You won't want to play full-screen shooter 3D games in Parallels. But something like Solitaire would work just fine. There's some line in the middle where the performance just won't be fast enough on Parallels. Care to give examples of the types of games you want to play?

Japanese Sims, RTS like empire strikes back and Starcraft 1, games for Windows XP. Stuff that you need a standard video card to play.

The problem you'll likely find is that many games will look for Direct3D support, which I don't think Parallels can provide.
